Project Description
New Home Construction and Sea Wall • 3,500 sq ft • 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths •
This is the house, built by Schultz Construction, that truly has it all. Located on Pleasure Point with expansive views of Monterey Bay. The curving, undulating roof, (we called it the “leaf” roof) was mocked up, literally “lofted”, at full scale on a warehouse floor; before we fabricated the structural components. The first part of the project involved construction of a tied-back , shot-crete seawall. Access for the drilling rig was via crane over the house, from the street. Most impressively this home is a fine example of a fully green building.
